Why are the bowls made of melamine?

We deliberately chose high-quality melamine because it is especially durable, easy to care for, and long-lasting. Melamine is impact- and scratch-resistant – making it perfect for everyday use as a cat food bowl. A small number of cats may be sensitive to melamine. In that case – or if you’d like to change the look – you can easily replace the bowls with our BOWL porcelain bowls.

For how many cats is the BUFFET feeding station suitable?

The station offers space for three bowls. In theory, up to three cats can eat at the same time – or you can use the bowls flexibly for different types of food and water. Tip: We recommend offering food and water separately. Our DELI water station or our TREVI drinking fountain are perfect for this. You can learn why this is beneficial in the LucyBalu magazine.

Are the bowls dishwasher and microwave safe?

Yes. The removable bowls can easily be cleaned in the dishwasher. The station itself can simply be wiped with a damp cloth.

Can I buy the feeding station directly with porcelain bowls?

Unfortunately, this is not possible for logistical reasons. We recommend choosing the BUFFET with melamine bowls and ordering a set of porcelain bowls at the same time. This way, you’ll also have two spare bowls.

Can I order replacement bowls?

Yes, of course! In the spirit of sustainability, our products are designed so that wear parts can be easily replaced. The bowls are therefore available as replacement products in a set of two in our “Replacement Products” category. This way, your feeding station stays beautiful for a long time – and your cat stays happy.

Are the bowls whisker-friendly?

Yes. The flat, round bowls are designed so that your cat’s sensitive whiskers barely touch the rim. This makes eating more relaxed.

Why is an elevated feeding station beneficial for cats?

The slightly raised position supports a more ergonomic eating posture. Your cat doesn’t have to bend down as much, which can make eating more comfortable.

Hochwertige Futterstation

Ich bin mit der Futterstation und der passenden Unterlage sehr zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung ist gut, beide Produkte wirken hochwertig. Die Futterstation ist aus schwerem Metall, und sie ist pulverbeschichtet. Das macht sie robust, auch wenn sie von 2 Tigern gleichzeitig benutzt wird.
Ich habe lange gezögert wegen des Preises, aber es hat sich gelohnt.

Ces gamelles sont d’excellentes qualité et très design ! J’en possède deux, étant dans un appartement sur deux niveaux et ayant un chat âgé. Ce serait super si vous en proposiez des plus hautes et larges, un peu plus ergonomiques en soit, pour nos chats un peu plus âgés.
